CANADA IS CRAZY.

dudes, we just got back from a 5 day jaunt thru seattle and BC and it was fucking incredible.  thanks to justin, tommy, wolf & danielle, anju, harrison and sixbrewbantha for hooking us up!  all of the bands we played with were fucking brutal.  so i highly recommend checking out old skin, carrion cathartid, obacha, osk, azotobacter, begrime exemious, iskra, ahna, violent restitution, d//compose & worst of earth, if you haven't already.  we're playing a bunch of portland shows this summer including one this sunday at laughing horse books with DEAD BY DAWN and SIAFU (oakland).  we're also going to be booking a 2-3 week tour for early september.  in the meantime, check out this interview we did with josh from thrashpunx in denver...

STUFF IS HAPPENING...

we're finishing up the last couple songs for the full length we're going to record in the next few months.  hoping for a late spring/early summer release.  planning a short tour up to vancouver, b.c. and surrounding areas in late april/early may.  also planning a longer tour thru parts unknown, USA for a couple weeks in june/july.  so naturally, new merch is on the way as well. probably just a new shirt design and more stickers and patches. we have a show march 15th at east end in pdx with GAYTHEIST.  also, if you speak russian check this out...

NOT MUCH IS HAPPENING...

we haven't been doing too much as of late.  corey played a show with another band the other day.  that was pretty cool.  kevin's old band is playing their 1st show in for fucking ever tonite but i don't even think he's been playing with them.  my other band has been playing a bit too.  next year we're gonna have some new shirts and other new merch, hopefully.  then we need to get into the studio to record a new full length which should be coming out on portland's STANKHOUSE RECORDS.  and we're long overdue for a tour, so that should be happening in the early-ish months of next year as well.  2012 is going to be a good year.  we've got to record all of our best material and bury it in a time capsule before december 21st so future civilizations can have their minds broken into dust particles.  yeah, that's right.

CHRIS STAMM FROM THE WILLAMETTE WEEKS GIVES US SOME MORE LOVE

thanks chris.  check out the other songs he lists too.  there's some good shit in there.

Honduran, “Live Fast, Die You”
Honduran’s self-titled 7-inch got a ridiculously mean review in a recent issue of Maximumrocknroll. Let’s just say the words “shitty” and “bullshit” were used twice in a single sentence. These local grinders didn’t seem too phased--a pic of said spilled ink was proudly posted to Honduran’s Facebook wall--which is good, because the record in question is a raw and brutal wonder. Standout track “Live Fast, Die You” (that’s the way Honduran’s Bandcamp page spells it) is a beast: as fairly straightforward powerviolence gives way to spazzy grind, drummer Kevin miraculously grows four bonus limbs and goes to town on his kit. It’s an unrelenting display of punk extremity, a two-minute fireworks display that I can’t get enough of. Hey, even MRR whiffs once in a while.
